Treatment Room

The practice nurse clinic offers a wide range of services. Immunisations, dressings, ear irrigation, minor injuries, injections, contraceptive advice and monitoring and smear testing; just to name a few.

Chronic Disease Review Clinic

This clinic offers support and advice for patients with chronic disease. You will be invited to attend this clinic when you are due your annual medication review, although you are welcome to make an appointment if you feel you need an interim review.

Health care assistant

Our experienced health care assistant performs health checks and offers lifestyle advice aimed at preventing disease. She also undertakes dressings, flu and pneumonia vaccinations and diabetes foot screening.

Phlebotomy

We have clinics every week where a qualified phlebotomist can take any blood tests you require.

Warfarin clinic

If you are taking warfarin and wish to attend our clinic please contact the practice for advice.

Joint Injections and Cryotherapy

Minor operations and cryotherapy can be arranged subject to agreement with your GP. Please discuss this with your GP who will decide whether this would be a suitable option for you.

Contraceptive coil and implant clinic

If you would like a contraceptive coil or implant fitted or removed you will need to arrange a telephone appointment with the GP. 

First Contact Physiotherapy

If you are experiencing muscle or joint problems you can make an appointment via the NHS app or online with the physiotherapist. You do not need to see a GP first. The physiotherapist can order any x-rays or scans you may need.

Dr Harris and the practice nurse hold a child immunisation clinic every Wednesday. All new babies are invited for a Check up with Dr Harris from 8 Weeks old.

Podiatry

This service is just for diabetic patients who are due their annual foot check and risk assessment. You should only book in this clinic if you have recieved an invitation letter. This clinic does not provide routine foot care.
